Job Description
A new opportunity to join a small but established financial institution in Japan to support with data analytics for market risk .

Roles/Responsibilities

• The dedicated risk management team ensures the effective management and compliance of market, credit, and enterprise risks in alignment with global regulations and the firm's risk appetite.
• Your primary objective will involve actively contributing to the development and enhancement of analytical tools, data visualization techniques, and reporting capabilities.
• Data Management: Identify, analyze, and derive insights from intricate data sets by recognizing trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Reports: Prepare comprehensive reports pertaining to client activities, statistical analysis, and executed actions.
• System Enhancements: Collaborate with the team and external suppliers to identify areas of improvement, promote efficiency, and explore innovative possibilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI and Python programming.
• Competence in Data IQ for data manipulation and exploration.
• Expertise in data cleaning, preparation, and statistical analysis.

Preferred skills

• Familiarity with financial markets
• A prior understanding of Japanese market rules is a plus.
