Description
The IP Assistant Legal Manager will providing key support in:
1. IP Portfolio Management: managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights and patents
2. IP Research and Analysis: to conduct comprehensive research to identify potential infringements, identifying the level of the firm's IP rights and to make recommendations to relevant stake holders
3. Copyright and Patent Support: to support the legal team by assisting on application filing, maintaining records and working with internal/ external counsels
4. Ad hoc duties include legal research, translating IP documents and maintaining accurate records of IP assets, registrations and related documents
Profile
The successful candidate will possess:
1. 5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Firm, Law Firm or IP Professional Firm
2. Degree/ Diploma in Legal Studies
3. Strong knowledge in handling copyright matters
4. Well organised and excellent attention to details
5. Strong Command of written and verbal English and Cantonese including Traditional and Simplified Chinese
6. Good interpersonal and communication skills
