A successful candidate will be well organized, tech-savvy and have the ability to investigate the facts of a project, ensure key business and legal questions are answered, risks are properly vetted and approved before any contracts are signed and relevant deadlines are met. This is a fast-paced environment where the candidate will learn about the hedge fund industry as well as work on a wide range of vendor agreements and projects.

Responsibilities:

 Assist with documentation organization and execution of vendor agreements, utilizing various contract life-cycle management tools and the document management system

 Assist with drafting of corporate organizational documents, board meeting preparations, entity formation, records and registration maintenance and various ancillary documentation under attorney supervision

 Coordinate legal projects with the clients various European offices  Draft and update various policies, procedures and vendor guidelines

 Interface with internal employees from various departments to manage the vendor contract review process

 Prepare correspondence with internal employees and external vendors and contractors

 Review and draft vendor agreements under attorney supervision

 Update a term library and contract term tracker for executed vendor agreements

 Update and maintain a master tracker of executed vendor agreements

 Work with counsel to update various templates including, data license agreements, NDAs, software and technology agreements, research agreements and consulting agreements

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's Degree

 Knowledgeable and proficient in PC applications  Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel)

 Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

 Responsive and collegial

 Strong attention to detail

 Superior analytical, oral and written communication skills

 Experience at a law firm or in the legal department of a financial services or investment management firm (preferred)  iManage (preferred)

 Sales Force (Fusion) document management system experience (preferred)
