Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ongoing analysis of the global real estate markets with specific focus on several commercial real estate sectors (office, retail, residential and logistic) across Europe, the US, Latin America and Australia
- Monitoring of all market related performance drivers of real estate with focus on the macroeconomic environment, investment, and leasing market fundamentals
- Preparation research materials, i.e. regular market reports, standard and specific presentations, event driven notes
- Research input for all important real estate operations (buy, hold, sell, lease) in close cooperation with our Portfolio Management, Acquisitions and Asset Management departments
- Data management, modelling and forecasting - maintain and develop proprietaries research tools
Qualifications:
- Background: Economist, Geography, Political Science, Urban Planning or any Real Estate specific field of study
- Experience:
- ideally experience in the Real Estate sector
- or a research role in similar business context
- Required Skills:
- English fluent, German fluent, all other optional
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Able to articulate findings in a short and concise matter both verbally and in writing
- Good presentation skills, Confidence to speak to larger groups of external stakeholders
- MS Office very good, Bloomberg Terminal beneficial but not mandatory
