Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Formulate, review and update credit policies, guidelines and procedures to regulate the credit activities undertaken by the bank
  • Review and approve applications relating to CMB and corporate banking loans in accordance with delegated authority
  • Perform the periodic credit review on CMB and corporate banking loan portfolios.
  • Support the recovery actions
  • Prepare regular MIS reports for credit review and monitoring
  • Collaborate with different functional units to manage and support ad-hoc credit risk tasks or projects and as assigned

Requirements:
  • University graduate in Risk Management, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Holder of CFA, CPA or ECF-CRM is preferred
  • At least 5 years of solid experience in approval or recovery function, preferably with knowledge of CMB or corporate banking lending products
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and banking practices on credit risk management
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated with strong risk control sense, ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good communication, negotiation and business writing skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Description

Responsibilities
  1. Establishment of credit risk management system, and participate in the formulation of credit risk related rules and processes;
  2. Management of credit risk limit, able to identify, measure, monitor and report relevant credit risks;
  3. Management of credit risk quantitative model, and the measurement and management of credit risk capital;
  4. Participate in the establishment and maintenance of product risk rating system and the review and evaluation of credit risks of related projects;
  5. Lead the credit risk assessment of new products and new businesses, and review the corresponding operation and risk management procedures;
  6. Ad-hoc tasks assigned by department.

Requirement
  1. Bachelor degree or above in Economics or Management from a well-known university, with FRM, CFA or CPA certificate is preferred;
  2. At least 5 years of credit risk management experience
  3. Experienced in quantitative analysis and modeling, familiar with credit risk measurement models and good at statistical analysis;
  4. High sense of responsibility, strong learning and research ability, good communication and coordination skills and writing skills, strong dedication and team spirit, can adapt to the high intensity of the work pace
