Who we are looking for
The role of the Private Credit Support Analyst is to proactively support the day to day operations of all post execution activity in relation to Private Credit/Direct Investment transactions undertaken by Real Assets as well as contributing to building out the function needed to support a high growth area of the business. This is a recently created team that is being developed given the significant growth plans as well as historically the manual nature of the process and is a key role in building a scalable, robust target operating model that is aligned to overall business strategy.

What you will be responsible for
As Private Credit Support SME, Officer you will
  • Act as ops central point of contact for all private credit queries in and working closely with colleagues in Americas to provide support where necessary
  • Responsible for ensuring all Private Credit deal bookings (Non-DVP/multi-drawdown/commitment fees/full and partial redemptions) are correctly captured within internal systems and subsequent deal lifecycle events are processed in line with trade specifics
  • Responsible for communicating with custodians and couriers in order to transfer deal specific notes in line with CASS6 guidelines
  • Provide client specific reporting to custodians for new/existing deals and liaise with them in regard to all Private Credit activity
  • Perform daily reconciliations across both stock and cash elements within reconciliation platforms
  • Responsible for instructing cash payments in relation to new transactions
  • Monitor cash receipts for interest and principal repayments
  • Co-ordinate with other operational areas/teams to ensure new deals are supported in line with current operating model
  • Work closely with the Real Asset deal assistance teams and internal/external clients to address queries and issues as/when they're raised
  • Responsible for performing payment tracking where applicable and working closely with custodians to ensure all cashflows settle as expected
  • Collate and distribute MI/KRIs in relation to Private Credit and involvement in operational control meetings
  • Work closely with Real Assets Business Management team to ensure pipeline of new business is understood and ensure that all operation aspects are executed in a timely manner
  • Proactively propose future operating model considerations and improvements to existing workflow as the team move to a `best in class` standing
  • Be proactive in the identification of opportunities, regardless of size and scope, to improve the Private Credit Support team
  • Work collaboratively with supervisor/manager fostering credibility and influence towards developing a reputation of operational excellence across the firm, share best practise with peers, creating an awareness of issues throughout the department.
  • Be a subject matter expert with respect to the customer, technical and regulatory needs of the community of Private Credit Support capability
  • Collaborate with other change initiatives, product owners and coordinate any dependencies.

  • Understanding and evidence of dealing with various products within the Private Credit/Direct Investments space; Private notes/bonds, bilateral and syndicated loans, swap repacks and listed notes
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the Asset Management Industry, technologies and regulation
  • Robust technical knowledge and experience in regard to Private Credit transactions workflows and process with an understanding of the front to back lifecycle
  • Knowledge and track record of adhering to industry best practices
  • Understanding of wider Derivative products to support planned business move into instruments with Derivative type tendencies
  • Proven experience within a Private Credit/Real Assets support function
  • Strong process controls awareness.
  • Excellent organisation, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively, an ability to be highly organised and set priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with an ability to successfully articulate issues clearly and robustly, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment.
