We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Release Train Engineer.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Facilitating the planning and execution of release trains: The RTE works closely with the product owner, scrum masters, and other team members to plan and coordinate the release train. They ensure that all the necessary work is prioritized and planned, and that the teams have the resources they need to execute the plan
  • Managing risks and dependencies: The RTE identifies and manages risks and dependencies across the release train. They work closely with other RTEs to ensure that dependencies between different release trains are managed effectively
  • Conducting agile ceremonies: The RTE facilitates agile ceremonies such as the program increment planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. They ensure that these ceremonies are run efficiently and effectively, and that they provide value to the teams and stakeholders.
  • Communicating with stakeholders: The RTE communicates regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on the progress of the release train. They ensure that stakeholders are informed about any changes or issues that arise, and that they have a clear understanding of the goals and timelines of the release train
  • Leading continuous improvement efforts: The RTE is responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts across the release train. They work with the scrum masters and other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that increase efficiency and quality
  • Ensures collaboration across SVS stakeholders, Technology and Vendor organization to achieve successful delivery of given OKRs
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of Avaloq working experience with overall technology experience of more than 15 years
  • Previous experience in successfully leading the implementation of Credit and other business processes in Avaloq eco system including but not limited to system implementation, system integration, data migration etc.
  • Excellent problem solving / analysis skills to assist in addressing business needs
  • Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss, and explain issues coherently and logically, both in writing and verbally
  • Proven experience with Agile ways of working (sprints, Jira workflows etc.)
  • Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritization and a pragmatic approach
  • Graduate degree in technology or relevant field
