Qlik Sense Developer

Job Description:

• Design and develop dashboards in Qlik Sense for business management reporting
• Collaborating with enterprise data warehouse, data governance and business teams on data gathering, data quality issues, as well as architecture or structure data repositories
• Strategize and ideate the solution design (create prototype and/or wireframes) before beginning on creating the application or solution
• Create load scripts, QVDs (with incremental load), data transformation, data models and set analysis in Qlik Sense
• Create visualizations by translating requirements and finding innovative solutions
• Develop dashboards with detail drilldowns, threshold gauges, timeline charts, etc
• Custom extension development and maintenance using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Conduct unit test and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Conduct performance tuning and optimizing data models, reports and dashboards by implementing industry standards and best practices
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and QA team
• Continuing to identify opportunities to enhance data analysis, reporting efficiency, and methodology

Technical skills:

• 5+ years of experience working in QlikView/Qlik Sense. Certification in Qlik Sense.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, dashboard design concepts and building extensions in Qlik Sense
• Experience in writing advanced SQL queries with hand-on to MySQL and SQLite
• Experience in developing scripts for data transformation using Python
• Data modelling, dimension modelling, and working with large data sets
• Use of Complex Qlik Sense functions and developing optimal scripts and set analysis
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
