The Fraud department, under the Cyber Data Risk & Resilience division in Technology, acts as the Firm's first line of defence to protect clients and the firm against internal and external fraud through the implementation of fraud awareness training, risk-based preventive and detective fraud controls, and real time fraud incident management in the region. The Australia Anti-Fraud Officer provides coverage for the Wealth Management and Institutional Securities Group in Australia.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the responsible management in Australia Wealth Management (AWM) to support the business growth by implementing effective anti-fraud controls.
- Perform thematic fraud risk assessment and provide threat Intelligence assessment to the responsible management in AWM.
- Attending regular Governance meetings and reporting key fraud risk findings to the senior management in AWM.
- Monitoring of monetary and non-monetary transactions to manage fraud risk.
- Partner with Cyber, Technology Risk and Firm Resilience to respond to fraud incidents.
- Conduct independent fraud investigation and work with the responsible management to document lessons learned and to remediate fraud risk control gaps.
- Work with regulators and law enforcement in the region on fraud related inspection and investigation.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- General knowledge on fraud.
- Experience in fraud investigations is desirable (but not essential).
- Familiar with the general regulatory regime in Australia and the rest of Asia.
- Experience in dealing with regulators and law enforcement in Asia is a plus.
- Knowledge of the wealth management business and payment infrastructure in Australia is required.
- Data analytics skills will be a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in handling time critical investigations, managing conflict and challenge payment team processes and controls.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
