Job Summary:
Trading is responsible for managing the business, trading platforms and operations of HKEX Group's HK-based cash and derivatives markets as well as Stock Connect, covering equity securities, funds, structured products and debt securities trade on the cash market. HKEX's Derivatives market is the trading venue for futures and options on various underlying assets or indices such as equity indices, equities, currency, interest rate and fixed income products.

Responsibilities:

The Vice President will join the Cash Trading Operations to:

• oversee the team's daily operation to ensure market and platforms stability
• lead the innovation and transformation of the team's workflows by managing and hands on the development and implementation of automation solutions using various tools and technologies
• work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of project initiatives which affect cash trading, on areas including but not limiting to impact assessment, system changes requirements and testing of these relevant changes
• Prepare write-ups, management papers, reports, and presentation materials

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A Bachelor's degree in econ/ finance, business administration, computer science or a similar discipline
• 8+ years operational and technical related experience in well-established financial institutions, of which at least 3 years at management / supervisory level, preferably in financial or securities industry
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in automation tools including Blue Prism, Power Automate, Power Apps and Visual Basic Application
• Solid experience in SharePoint list, approval flows and M365 and Power Platform ecosystem
• Strong experience in automated testing tool and environment
• Sound experience in project management with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with Hong Kong and Mainland stock markets practices
• An innovative and highly agile individual with growth mindset
• A self-motivated individual with the ability to think strategically, analyze problems and propose solutions
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin with excellent communications skill and proactive attitude
