Who we are looking for
State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is currently looking for a Cash Sales Vice President to cover the APAC Region. This is an opportunity to work with SSGA in the global cash management product line. SSGA currently manages approximately $4 trillion in assets and is a leading cash management provider with over $400 billion in cash assets. We are seeking a driven, self-motivated and sales oriented individual to help build and grow relationships with the full suite of institutional investors including Asset owners, Asset Managers, Banks and Corporates. This role can be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong and will report to the Head of Sales in London.

What you will be responsible for
As Cash Sales, VP you will
  • Marketing SSGA' s cash management solutions to institutional investors across APAC.
  • Sourcing new, and growing existing, client relationships with financial institutions and corporate clients/prospects.
  • Lead generation through extensive networking and cold calling prospects to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with wider State Street sales teams in region to effectively lead generate and deliver a 'One firm' approach to clients.
  • Ensure that the APAC Cash Business operates in compliance with local sales & marketing restriction.
  • Report activities and sales opportunities in a timely manner to the CRM system
  • Ability to manage budget to maximize time and resources in order to meet individual and team sales targets.

What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role
  • Track record of selling to institutional clients (across both corporate and/or financial institutions) in the region and a sales mindset are critical factors. Direct sales/cold calling experience is an essential.
  • Ability to own sales channel and, over time, take ownership for setting sales strategy, operating with an owners mindset.
  • An ability to leverage existing relationships and particularly, to develop new relationships in order to drive sales and increase SSGA cash management product adoption are critical.
  • High energy, self-motivated, resilient individual with an ability to work autonomously, and adapt sales tactics to multiple client types.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree qualified
  • CFA/IMC or other relevant qualifications
  • Languages - English & ideally Mandarin/Cantonese
  • Licenced MAS/SFC Rep for Fund Management/willingness to undertake relevant exams.
