IT Vendor Manager - Contingent Workforce

IT Vendor Manager - Contingent Workforce vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Executing technology vendor management practice, optimizing spend, compliance, and risk
• Developing and implementing an efficient technical contingent labor supplier program
• Establishing governance processes for commitment review, change controls and termination
• Fostering strong relationships with strategic providers and resolve issues promptly
• Supporting the Business Areas in procurement activities and negotiation processes
• Identifying opportunities for portfolio simplification, cost reduction, and service improvement

Your experience/knowledge:

• Strong expertise in global technology vendor management, encompassing complex transactions at scale, specifically in central banks or financial institutions
• Deep understanding of the technical staffing industry and contract law
• Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary working groups, ideally in an international environment
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing contracts throughout their lifecycle
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
