My client is an award-winning private equity firm with an enviable track record in investing in high growth, small-to-medium sized businesses across Australia and New Zealand. By partnering closely with their portfolio businesses, the consistent result has been accelerated growth and vastly improved performance. With a highly active investment mandate targeting multiple key target sectors, the team in Brisbane continues to grow and is looking to hire an Investment Analyst/Associate to help ensure the firm's continued success.
This new hire will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of investors that has successfully implemented a creative and flexible investment mandate that puts the focus on partnering closely with and adding value to the businesses they invest in. There is an emphasis on developing a patient, collaborative partnership with quality, high-growth businesses that display a sustained competitive advantage. The team also provides close operational support across their portfolio to ensure a lasting impact and the best outcome for all parties.
Candidates will likely have 2-4 years transactional corporate finance experience gained from an investment banking, independent corporate advisory firm, or a relevant transaction team of a Big 4 CA firm. We may also consider appropriate candidates coming from management consulting and corporate development. Candidates will have gained solid exposure to M&A transactions and will have sound technical financial modelling and analytical skills. Complementing your technical experience will be a passion for investing, an inquisitive mindset and you'll be looking for an opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of investing including origination, investment analysis as well as operational enhancement.
