GFT is one of nine organizations within Operations and Technology (O&T) and serves as an important enabler to Citi's strategy. The function supports the needs of departments such as Finance, Risk, Compliance, HR, and other regulatory requirements.

The APAC Franchise Development Analyst is an AVP level role reporting to the APAC Franchise Development Lead and working closely with the regional APAC GFT leads. This role requires the position holder to help set up the GFT APAC engagement model with the countries, standardize current processes and provide a structure for oversight for strategic initiatives. The APAC Franchise Development Analyst responsibilities also include developing a clear vision of who GFT APAC's country partners, assessing the learning & development needs for the franchise . Also managing the t echnical training to talent development & upskilling/ cross-functional opportunities. They are also responsible for developing a solid understanding of the GFT APAC risk & control layout. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned professional and be able to apply program management skills and be a person who is dynamic, has strong deductive reasoning capabilities, can communicate, and influence up/down/across a global enterprise, also drives initiatives from inception to closure with strong attention to details.

Responsibilities
- Supports the Franchise Development Lead in scaling the organization to meet the growth in APAC region.
- Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs at the franchise level.
- Extract market intelligence and create communication/business plans proactively for GFT APAC Seniors and the O&T regional heads.
- Provides our O&T partners with visibility into the GFT operating model and awareness of any upcoming changes, systemic issues which GFT APAC is encountering.
- Understand the current country operating model from other regions and identify the gaps and work on creating a similar engagement structure for GFT APAC.
- Manages and brings forward any noticeable risks in a timely manner and helps mitigate the risks.
- Understand the current learning & development structure and propose a plan to improve and increase opportunities.
- Work closely with the GFT APAC PMO team and the regional leads to have an oversight on projects and to coordinate and support overall execution of GFT priorities and initiatives.
- Support the Franchise Development Lead in meeting any ad hoc requirements related to the regional requirements.
- Complete all tasks in connection with the organization's activity but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, or the regional head.
- Identifying improvement opportunities and additional functions to bring into the current operating model.
- Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
- Program/ Project management experience.
- Good understanding of the overall Citi and its business' requirements.
- Outstanding analytical skills - willingness and ability to use metrics in business decision making.
- Experience managing in a global environment - high degree of influencing skills.
- High degree of comfort in managing and driving changes through communication and influencing.
- Good understanding of the technology and its implementation.
- Prior experience of dealing with senior leaders in the company.
- Ability to communicate enhancement and changes to processes/platforms with partners and work to drive change.
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- MBA preferred
- Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
- Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary.
- Excellent presentation skills - written and verbal and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel and Power Point knowledge.
