A boutique Credit Investment firm in London is currently looking for a driven individual for an Analyst position within the private debt function.
They are a well-known specialist lender who focus on capital provision to mid-market corporates with either a focus on deep-value and special situations, or on companies with significant growth potential. Whilst they are not necessarily looking to acquire/own companies outright, they have done minority equity investments in the past and would sometimes sit on company boards. There are plans to build a secondaries investment capacity as they grow and anybody who joins them can expect to have exposure to that side over time.
They are an established player in their specialist segment and have a long track-record of successful mid-market investing. They also have an excellent and diverse investor base of institutions with a long-term investment horizon, such as pension funds, endowments, HNWIs, and insurance companies.
They already have a team of high-quality individuals with diverse backgrounds, as they greatly value intl. experience and diversity of thought. They would expect a candidate for this position to have 2-4yrs of experience either in M&A, LevFin, Restructuring or another relevant role with a consultancy or advisory firm. Fluency in an additional European language is useful but not essential.
