The Role

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated professional to join their Deal Team.

In this role, you will work closely with senior members of the investment team to identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities across a wide range of industries and geographies. You will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, developing investment theses, conducting due diligence, and supporting the negotiation and structuring of transactions.

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support investment decisions
• Develop investment theses and conduct research to identify investment opportunities
• Conduct DD on potential investments, including industry and company analysis, financial analysis, and operational and strategic assessments
• Assist with transaction structuring and negotiation
• Work closely with portfolio companies to drive value creation and maximize returns

Your Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field from top university
• 4-7 years of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm with experience working on DD projects for PE clients, bulge-bracket investment bank (M&A) or private equity firm
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals and executives of target companies
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Native-level Japanese and fluent English
