The Role

• Oversee the company's finance function and play a key role in shaping short or long-term strategic financial planning and development
• Drive the company's financial strategy and provide related ongoing advice to the CEO and senior leadership
• Function as a financial and business partner to the CEO to help formulate financial targets and budgets in accordance with the Company's group and country-level strategies
• Lead the team to ensure timely consolidated financial reports across operating businesses including monthly and quarterly reports, quarterly forecasts, financial planning and analyses as well as build a strategic structure and cadence for financial planning and review
• Oversee all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit process
• Support necessary reporting and board of director deliverables, including financial aspects of board meeting materials
• Support fundraising efforts, investor relations and lead the due diligence planning, preparation and coordination process
• Build, lead and scale the finance team; recruit and retain top talent, build organizational and team structures as well as processes to achieve a highly functioning and performing team

Your Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in commercial and investment banking, at least 3 of which must be in a leadership position
• Strong understanding of the telecommunications industry
• Demonstrated excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth and rapidly changing technology-driven environment
• TSE related experience in commercial finance, investment management, capital raising, and corporate development a plus; M&A and JV experience a plus
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and highly attuned to the capital markets. Japanese and English language proficiency is required.

• Strong team building and leadership qualities: manage and expand our group's finance team, recruit and retain top talent, build consensus and mobilize members to achieve goals
• Strong budget management and financial analysis skills.
• Bachelor's degree and/or CA/CPA certification in a related field, MBA a strong bonus
