The Listed Derivatives PM (Position management) team is responsible for managing the expiry and delivery lifecycle events of futures and options (ETD) contracts for both principal (house) and agency (client) business. The process includes monitoring lifecycle events based on CCP expiry schedules, monitoring desk and client positions going into delivery and notifying impacted parties to either roll the positions or preparing for deliveries. In addition to the expiry processing, team is also responsible to resolve any reported breaks (vs Street or vs Desk/Client booking) relating to expiry booking (including corporate actions, cascading).
Responsibilities
  • Working internally in a team to manage ETD futures and options expiry scheduling across major Exchanges globally (focusing on EMEA Exchanges)
  • Working externally with the CCPs (Central clearing houses) to schedule and monitor expiry/delivery events
  • Manage Futures and options expiry processing across multiple internal systems to correctly post resultant positions on the client accounts
  • Conduct physical delivery processing with CCPs and settlement agents to physically move the resultant assets between CCPs and clients
  • Manage client/desk requests to process any early exercise/assignment
  • Work with internal teams to resolve various types of break reported in relation to expiry processing
  • Work independently, or with team members and management, on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives to reduce risk and/or improve client service delivery Basic Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have worked in a ETD trade lifecycle management/delivery management position previously and have a demonstrated service skillset
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for individuals that can exhibit the below skillset and competencies:
  • 3-5 years of ETD deliveries and expiries management experience across global CCPs
  • Relevant Listed Derivatives knowledge
