Internal Audit Manager

Responsibilities

The Business Assurance Manager will be accountable for the AU/NZ component of the Audit plan. This will involve working closely with the Senior Management teams of local service lines to identify key risk areas, develop audit projects that sufficiently address identified risks, and manage scheduled audit projects. This includes the following:

• Collaborate with the Head of Business Assurance and local Senior Management to establish the annual Audit Plan.
• Take charge of the implementation of scheduled audit projects, which includes planning, risk evaluation, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Support risk-based assessments of core financial processes by identifying weaknesses in process design and internal controls.
• Develop and refine audit work programs.
• Prepare formal audit reports for local management and brief audit reports for Senior Management and the Audit Committee.
• Propose risk-based, commercially balanced solutions to address identified issues.
• Clearly present findings in both written and verbal formats to Senior Management.
• Conduct timely follow-up of agreed actions.
• Stay updated on existing and emerging risks across the industry.
• Collaborate with Business Assurance team members to improve the function's data-analytics capacity.
• Take charge of other special projects as requested.

Profile

• CA, CPA or CFA qualified
• 5 years' experience in external or internal audit
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Happy to be hands on in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Experience with data analytics tools advantageous
