Our client offers a wide range of financial products and services including working capital loans and factoring to companies in diverse sectors. The investment team has opened a new position for a Senior Analyst/Associate. The position is based in Mexico City. What the job involves
- Analyze and execute credit and financial opportunities
- Create reports, compile data, and perform in-depth analysis of credit performance to identify attractive areas of opportunity and competitive analyses
- Conduct financial modeling including analysis of financial statements, valuations, returns, and competitive ratios
- Interface with third parties to compile required data and information and resolve diligence-related issues while mitigating risks
- Perform in-depth market and asset class analysis to adequately assess and support the underwriting of new opportunities from both a risk and return perspective
- Prepare internal quarterly portfolio reports detailing performance, exposures, concentrations, and other qualitative characteristics to evaluate and monitor the ongoing performance of the clients
- Maintain deal pipeline to memorialize all screened new opportunities
- Experience in investment banking, financial services, private credit, finance, consulting, and M&A
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics or another related field
- Solid financial modelling and analytic skills
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
