Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for an experienced Master Agreements Negotiator to join their team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in negotiating derivatives agreements in Asia, and be fluent in both Chinese and English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiating and drafting derivatives master agreements, including ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, for the bank's clients across Asia
  • Providing legal advice and support on derivatives transactions to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating with business teams to understand client needs and objectives, and to develop appropriate legal solutions
  • Keeping up-to-date with regulatory developments in the derivatives space, and advising the business accordingly


Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in negotiating derivatives agreements
  • Legal qualification is preferred
  • Strong understanding of derivatives products and their associated risks
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
