Details of the Division and Team:

This role is part of Regulatory and Cross Product Technology and is responsible for delivery of Asia Pacific initiatives for Regulatory Reporting leveraging technical solutions and resources regionally and globally.

We are looking for an experienced hands-on Project Manager to drive key regional initiatives across business enablement, operational efficiency, market mandatory initiatives and regulatory compliance. This role will require engagement across senior operations and technology stakeholders encompassing Corporate Bank & Investment Bank

Your key responsibilities:
  • The portfolio of work spans Corporate Bank and Investment Bank encompassing functionality to be built across functional taxonomy (transactional regulatory reporting).
  • In line with the responsibility, the Project Manager will:
  • Collaborate with end users, development teams and program director to formulate project deliverables
  • Assess phasing of project deliverables to ensure optimum utilization of resources across technology and operations
  • Manage and coordinate activity of specialists, technicians, and analysts to ensure tasks are performed that result in project deliverables
  • Creating and maintaining project plans, and capture deviations as they occur, mitigate risks that impact short term plan
  • Proactively manage the dependencies, assumptions, risks and issues for tracking program delivery and outcomes
  • Ensure transparency on project deliverables and key risks, issues and dependencies via regular governance (working groups and operating committee)

Your skills and experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project deliveries and business analysis within investment bank and/or major financial services firm.
  • Min 3 years with strong knowledge of trade lifecycle and/or settlement process within Investment bank (FX, Rates and Credit) and/or Corporate Bank (Lending, Trade Financing and Payments)
  • Min 3 years In-depth experience in with review regulatory projects and solution of derivatives reporting regimes (MAS, ASIC, HKMA) or industry wide initiatives (MIFID2 or CSDR) .
  • Proficiency in speaking and written Mandarin as the role requires constant communication with the Bank's China counterparts.
  • Masters or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in analytical subject matter, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with exposure to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with the Agile framework or working in Agile teams

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
