Duties include:
Manage an existing portfolio to include BTL mortgages with the support of the Relationship Manager • Evaluate credit proposals and prepare credit applications for review by the RM prior to submission to the Risk Department for appraisal. • Act as first line of defence in dealing with customers and other counterparties. • Monitor daily excess report and prepare required responses/explanations for the RM review. • Monitor renewal dates of facilities, obtaining necessary information from customers and processing renewals on timely basis. • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the Business/Bank. • Assist the RMs in conducting annual reviews of customer files for assigned portfolio. • Identify opportunities to improve the Bank's products, processes and service to customers. • Strong support of RMs which provides comprehensive client on-boarding and transaction due diligence to minimize Bank exposures / losses. • Sound and comprehensive first line credit evaluations which avoid time delays for customers
This Temp to Permanent position would be ideal for a Credit Analyst who has managed portfolios and developed client relationships who has worked in a Corporate/Commercial Banking or Trade Finance area from a SME Bank.
