Director - Emerging Technology Research

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overall responsibility for the management of the SPEED Edge content team, which includes managing a team of 30+ analysts, identifying new topics to cover, delivering industry reports and thematic reports within specified quality and time frames, overseeing the industry maintenance process, delivering high-quality customized research output, developing new content, and managing the hiring and content planning functions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• More than five years of experience in managing and driving a senior analyst team
• More than ten years of experience in writing industry/company research reports
• Preference will be given to the following:
• Candidates who have authored equity research reports and possess advanced skills in both report writing and
financial modeling
• Candidates with experience in consulting, corporate planning, and strategy
• Candidates with prior specialized knowledge in the technology sector
• CFA charter holders, bachelor's/master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Science/Mathematics (upper second or higher from a top three local or a top 100 international university)

OR

• Members of CA, CIMA (UK), or ACCA (UK)

• Strong interest in Finance/Economics/Investing and the ability to conduct high- level numerical analysis

• Passion for creating high-quality written reports with the ability to write clearly and succinctly
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work with a sense of urgency

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Fluency in English-strong written and verbal skills
