McCabe & Barton is currently recruiting for a leading asset management firm with global presence and a commitment to innovation and client outcomes. Our client is seeking a hands-on Lead Informatica Cloud Solutions Architect to join their Engineering and Technology team in London.
As the Lead Informatica Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in enabling, scaling, and supporting the adoption of data platforms in the cloud using IDMC components. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and thought leadership while collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving significant technical solutions to business problems.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical thought leader and hands-on expert in the administration and governance of IDMC.
- Serve as an internal expert, enabling the adoption of data platforms in the cloud and supporting technology and business groups.
- Define and implement appropriate RBAC policies, managing provisioning to user groups and roles using native platform capabilities.
- Establish and foster strong relationships with Data Stewards, technology teams, Product Managers, Scrum managers, developers, and other data consumers.
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team members, and external industry groups to address complex technical issues and achieve strategic goals.
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on the implementation of innovative technical solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, engaging with professionals and managers across the enterprise.
- Take ownership of day-to-day delivery, working closely with data engineers and a matrix organization.
- Initially, oversee the administration, architecture, and governance of Informatica Cloud, Snowflake, Tableau, and other relevant products.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in installation, configuration, administration, architecture, operations, governance, and management of Informatica Cloud.
- 5+ years of experience operating in AWS Cloud (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree or higher in MIS, CS, or a related technology field.
- 5+ years of experience in the investment industry (preferred).
- Must have at least 5 years of experience with Snowflake.
- Exposure to Tableau and other BI tools is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in MIS, CS, or another technology-related field.
- Experience with Snowflake, Kyvos, or other BI tools and Informatica Cloud is a plus.
- AWS Cloud experience is desirable.
- Previous experience working for financial services firms, preferably in investment management, is a plus.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a distributed environment.
- Experience with Agile application development.
- Strong knowledge of designing and developing metadata-driven data pipelines with comprehensive documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to transfer knowledge to team members and provide value-added insights.
- Proven experience in on-call support and troubleshooting.
- Ability to confidently interact with counterparts at all levels within the firm.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams across locations and navigate a matrix organization
