About the Opportunity:
The Valuation Control Change team plays a pivotal role to coordinate with key stakeholders in IT, Finance and the Front Office to drive transformation projects. Valuation Control provide an independent valuation opinion across the entire spectrum of financial instruments within the firm's sales and trading inventory and proprietary investment portfolio, ranging from vanilla products to the most complex structured and derivative transactions. The group's key clients are senior trading management and senior Finance management.
Our client is seeking an Agile Fleet Enablement Lead/ Product Owner to support the team in delivering technology solutions across a broad range of products / systems. The role is part Project Manager, Agile Scrum-master and Business Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support the Fleet Lead in defining the Fleet purpose, scope, objectives and KPIs, including alignment with the organization
-Drive execution of complex projects with ownership and autonomy
-Maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic objectives and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness towards the business result
-Assist the Fleet Lead maintain and prioritize the Fleet level backlog of work, by driving alignment between the Fleet level Purpose and Squad level components
-Work closely with squad level Product Owners to manage interdependencies
-Track Fleet and Squad Level KPIs performance and value realization, generate insights and recommendations on potential areas for development
-Assist Fleet Lead in communicating progress to key stakeholders
Key Skills Required:
-Curiosity about technology, are solution oriented and thrive in a diverse environment
-Experience in Agile Experience scoping, developing and prioritizing plans for strategic pieces of work
-Experience in executing business change including senior stakeholder management
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Ability to identify, monitor and manage project risks, issues and dependencies and agree appropriate responses
-Knowledge of JIRA and MS suite with strong skills in Excel and Powerpoint
-Min. 2 years of relevant experience in Project Management/Business Analysis
- Proven experience in Valuation Control
