Finance Director/Financial Controller for a HK-listed Company

• Overseeing and managing all aspects of the financial and accounting functions of the Group and its respective business units, including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, tax planning, auditing, management reports, and compliance.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and insights; conduct financial analysis, performance evaluation, and risk assessment to support business decision-making. Provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency, profitability, and cost management
• Be responsible for financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports as required.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure audit and tax compliance and all other listing requirements of the HKEX
• Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, manage risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Reporting to CEO, supervising and mentoring the finance team, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
• Assist in developing financial plans and budgets. Work closely with operational teams to align financial targets with business objectives and track performance against budgeted goals.
• Investment experiences would be a plus.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required, holding professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles with Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge

• Fluent in Cantonese, English and Putonghua
