Investment Operations Analyst

About the Investment Operations Analyst Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for providing middle office support to the Hong Kong and Singapore team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on exceptional trade cases such as late trading reporting and trade amendments
• Review dealing guides and operating memorandums with distributors and third parties
• Liaise with Transfer Agents on all operational matters
• Review, update and maintain the Investment Book of Records ("IBOR") to ensure that the data used by portfolio managers, other internal/external clients and functions is of high quality and can be trusted for investment management and client reporting purposes
• Monitor performance and propose Local Broker/Custodian Liaison
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers, providing assistance and support during order generation
• Assist in the management and resolution of exceptions arising from trade management

To succeed in this Investment Operations Analyst role, you should be organised and work well with minimal supervision. You will also require strong analytical skills. Relevant experience in a front and middle environment is desirable.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to handle large volume of data via Excel spreadsheets
• Knowledgeable in asset management business and in particular investment products characteristics across major asset classes
• Firm understanding of the trade lifecycle, from order and execution management, allocation, confirmation and fail trade management
• Experience in the processing of corporate actions
• Previous experience of working in an investment management or related environment
