Trade Finance, VP, Foreign Bank

Description

• To develop the Bank corporate client base. Delivering quality services and solutions to HK customers and responsible for trade finance solutions
• To maintain and expand the Bank's market share in HK on Trade Finance. Bring in additional relationship / revenue into the bank.
• To identify and report market opportunities. Actively involved in the internal new product discussion process. Develop and gather intelligence to enhance Bank's position.
• Working together with the China Trade Finance team on client referral, cross boarder products opportunities.
• Cross-sell functions, and ensures customer needs are met or exceeded by resolving complaints in a timely and effective manner.
• Regularly monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate and prompt actions to safeguard the Bank's assets and interest under the trade finance transactions.
• In addition to the functional reporting line, the position will also report to the Chief Executive of HK Branch for local oversight

Profile

• Good understanding trade finance market in HK and local regulatory parameters
• Strong knowledge of various trade products/services, processes & procedures. Experience in credit analysis is a plus
• Good communication skills with multinational companies, Chinese companies and relationship building
• Familiar with clients who has trade with America and Europe
• Ability to work independently and perform under pressure is essential
• Familiar with ICC uniform rules like UCP600, ISP98, URDG758 etc.
• Sales & Customer Service orientation skills and good analytic and problem-solving skills
• Planning and organizing skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good communications skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
