About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Processing, reconciling, investigating and monitoring margin calls under VMCSA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA and IMCSA: -
    • review data quality prior to issuing margin calls issuance.
    • respond to daily margin calls.
    • dispute resolution through portfolio reconciliation
  • perform and respond to control reporting to ensure effective break/fails and exceptions are explained.
  • Vetting of legal agreements (VMCSA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA, CTA and IMCSA) from a collateral management operation perspective.
  • Provides subject matter support to business unit's strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with Technology, Operations group and business units to manage enhancements and new product implementations.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and awareness of the regulatory environment and the bank's adherence to the regulations.
  • Collaboration with oversea branches and subsidiaries, providing oversight on collateral management.
  • Check and process interest settlements.
  • Collateral management MIS reporting
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Ensure static data correctness in the bank's collateral management system.
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Economic/Finance/Management or experience in the banking industry
  • Previous experience in Collateral Management, derivative Middle-Office and trade reconciliation a plus
  • Knowledge in over-the-counter derivatives, and documentations like ISDA, CSA, VMCSA, GMRA, GMSLA and IMCSA etc preferred but not necessary
  • Strong communication skills and team player, required for an effective liaison across multiple internal stakeholders
  • Risk awareness and attention to detail
  • Time management and ability to prioritize effectively based on the risk / time criticality of the tasks required
  • Innovative mindset and able to improve processes to minimize risk and increase efficiency
  • Fluency in English
