Fund Controller - Credit / Debt

Are you a Senior Fund Accountant with experience within private credit / debt looking for a chance to step up into a Controller role. Or are you an experienced Controller looking to gain more ownership and aid in the growth of one of the highest deal flow teams in London on their journey to launch new complementary products?

Investigo is currently in partnership with an established credit manager who this next year are kicking off the launch of several new open ended products to complement their suite of closed ended global funds - meaning this hire will have exceptional exposure to not only fund launches and operations, but also a chance to really partner with the investment and product teams on due diligence and new product feasibility.

What to expect:

• Oversee daily cash forecasting, monitoring investment activities and fund expenses, and managing liquidity requirements.
• Oversee entire capital call and distribution process and working schedules and notices prepared by TPAs.Manage credit and leverage facility operations such as drawdown, repayment, payment process, and covenant reporting.
• Oversee and re-calculate fund performance metrics such as IRRs and Investment Multiples at both fund and asset level.
• Produce investor reporting package such as investment manager's report, portfolio details report, and various ad-hoc reporting.
• Aid investment team for deal funding process to ensure timely funding.
• Ensure fund budget and expenses are in-line with fund document and expectations and payments are approved and processed in a timely manner.
• Provide aid from fund finance perspective for regulatory and compliance reporting for AIFMD, Solvency II, and other regulatory reporting.

Experience required:

• Solid technical and working knowledge over the topics of fund legal documents, fund oversight model, financial and fund accounting, ability to document, justify, and demonstrate complex fund financial, accounting, and fund operation matters.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent
• Experienced with closed ended private funds structures - PE, VC or credit/debt preferred - open ended credit knowledge would be an advantage
• Understanding of the fund operations or experience with fund launches / LPA dissection
