Business Unit Overview
The APAC Wealth Client Business sales team is responsible for our business strategy and distribution of BlackRock's products, including index products, open-end funds, closed-end funds, alternatives, and managed accounts, amongst others, working in partnership with institutions and financial intermediaries. We are responsible for day-to-day relationship management with key Wealth distribution partners to both sustain existing business and enable new growth.
We have teams across U.S. and Canada, EMEA, (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
Role Description
Reporting to the Wealth APAC Head of Sales Strategy and Planning within the COO function, we are looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual to be part of our Centre of Excellence in Budapest. The APAC Wealth Sales support position is an opportunity to gain a deep understanding of BlackRock products and services by supporting the Sales business including; COO, Sales, Capital Markets, Product and Portfolio Management, across the Asia Pacific region.
There is an opportunity to join the team and enhance our business efficiencies through taking responsibility for internal and external reporting as well as supporting the team's active and index fund governance responsibilities across the region. The successful candidate will be given considerable exposure to BlackRock's Wealth client business and will be encouraged to problem solve, innovate and share ideas with the broader team.

Our hybrid work model

Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners within APAC Wealth Client business and across all BlackRock
- Support process re-design/improvement of automated reporting processes
- Offer solutions and support various projects, including automation/standardization efforts and the evolution of reporting
- Leverage data and feedback to help evolve report content and presentation
- Understand flow of client, market and fund information across BlackRock and external data providers (such as FE fundinfo)
- Synthesize data from multiple sources and regions to produce time sensitive monthly client view AUM reports for the APAC region
- Partner with Capital Markets and Finance teams to produce regular AUM reports for Asia listed funds
- Analyze exchange provided data, Bloomberg data and financial news to generate monthly competitor reporting
- Monitor our global ETF, and in particular US ETF, offering in APAC to ensure compliance with local notification and registration requirements
- Produce client requested ETF performance, holdings and composition reports
- Oversee and ensure timely and accurate distribution of all deliverables, proactively communicating potential delays to clients
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably with a financial services firm
- Strong interest in both technology and analytics
- Familiar with handling and manipulating large data sets
- Familiarity with Excel 2013 or newer
- Fluency in English is required, proficiency in an Asian language a plus
- Strongly Preferred: Excel VBA, SQL, Tableau, Bloomberg
- Demonstrated ability to use technology and programming skills to develop solutions to speed up and scale processes for users
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and meet hard deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
- Attention to detail and quality is essential
