We focus on families, small business owners and individuals with complicated fiscal dynamics. We are expanding our team of specialists to include a Senior Portfolio Manager. Position Overview

As the Senior Portfolio Manager, you will provide comprehensive support for all aspects of the investment process, including the analysis, calculations and judgment necessary to develop comprehensive investment strategies for current and prospective clients. Leveraging our history with individual stocks and bonds, as well as alternative investments, you will guide the firm’s overall investment strategy, lead our Investment Committee, and determine the best strategies as our firm continues to move forward and grow. You will manage a portion of our client set that needs more technical delivery and conversation. You will also guide our internal team and support all clients of the firm on an as needed basis. You must have the experience to support excellence in asset management, risk mitigation, and continuously evaluate changing market conditions and develop strategies identified as beneficial to client portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Research equities, bonds and other investment opportunities; utilizing performance and analytical databases along with related index benchmarks
  • Develop strategic investment plan for client base along with individual client portfolios
  • Develop investment policies and asset allocations for the firm and for Private Wealth Management clients
  • Provide market insights and investment recommendations to potential and existing clients
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
  • Works closely with Private Wealth Management team members through both the creation of investment related materials, as well as directly participating and presenting
  • Review and manage retail client portfolios, including the firms’ high net worth clients
  • Trade individual stocks and bonds over multiple custodial platforms
  • Manage and review the firms’ trading activity
  • Develop efficiencies in managing client portfolios and trading investments
  • Conduct firms’ investment meetings, educating team on current and forward-looking financial conditions
  • Deliver investment presentations on recent market trends 
  • Lead internal collaboration efforts for all functions related to investment decisions, portfolio construction, rebalancing, tax loss harvesting
  • Management and maintenance of Investment Team processes and procedures

Qualifications

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification required; additional certifications could be beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Active Series 65 or 66; Clean U-4
  • 7+ years direct investment experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and advanced writing and grammatical proficiency
  • A genuine interest in serving and caring for other people; impeccable ability to maintain confidentiality and serve clients with the highest integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
