We Offer
Join us as a Product Controller in the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Team. Our primary responsibility is to ensure complete, accurate and timely reporting of the Firm's P&L, Balance Sheet along with detailed Analysis.
PCA Valuation Controllers provide the core valuation services such as calculation, analysis and re-porting of Independent Price Verification (IPV) to ensure the firm's trading and banking assets and liabilities are correctly valued. We calculate and analyze various valuation adjustments required to mark the bank's inventory at appropriate Fair Value. We also implement Prudent Valuation to quantify Valuation Uncertainty as per PRA guidelines and other controls to detect unauthorized trading and compliance with PCA related SOX requirements, among other things. We interact frequently with various teams within Product Control as well as other stakeholders in Front Office, Quantitative Strategies, Information Technology, Compliance, etc. The role requires high ethical standards and strong intuitive understanding of products to be able to implement control policies effectively and sufficiently challenge stakeholders to this end.
This role is in the Fixed Income group where we cover global vanilla and complex products related to risk factors such as Interest Rates, Foreign Exchange, Inflation-linked and their derivatives.
