About us:
EDHEC is looking for a mid-senior executive to join a team working on private investments with the mission to engage the investment community worldwide and increase the impact of EDHEC research amongst market participants and their relationship with EDHEC.
Objectives
Supporting the Director of Investor Outreach in ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and success in day-to-day operations
Conduct regular account management responsibilities. Responding to client queries in a timely manner, broadening use case at each client account to ensure longevity and retention
Conduct product training sessions and use case demonstrations with clients
Update FAQs and other collateral that serve to educate users on our data/methodology
Work closely with the client services team in actively monitoring each account, especially those clients at risk, formulating and seeing through strategies to mitigate account terminations or client dissatisfaction
Manage broad client communication regards new product launches, platform changes, subscriber notices
Organising and animating the industry-wide awareness and engagement of investors in private assets around EDHEC data standards and taxonomies including TICCS (the infrastructure sector standard) and ESG data and reporting standards. This includes the ongoing maintenance of EDHEC data standards and taxonomies through the organisation of regular market consultations and of the governance of these standards (Review Committees, etc).
Promoting the EDHEC data standards through regular marketing campaigns, public speaking, participation in investors fora and associations and discussions with regulators and policy making bodies.
Requirements
At least 5-7 years of experience in the finance industry either in an account management or market research role
Subject matter knowledge within the overall finance or alternative assets sector
Experience producing written reports for wide public use and running advocacy campaigns around such reports including engaging with public policy and regulatory bodies.
Experience in relationship-building, value proposition, engaging with industry stakeholders in a meaningful and goal-oriented way in order to meet business objectives
Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with SalesForce preferable
Competencies
A self-starter, able to work independently and within a team
A confident and strong communicator, able to conduct high-level conversations/engagements with senior industry stakeholders. Public speaking experience preferred but not compulsory
The ability to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability to different workflows and processes
Responsiveness and work efficiency - the ability to deliver on time to deadlines
Operational efficiency - the ability and drive to manage disparate workflos
Project management - the ability to plan and manage complexity, running several projects at the same time & see it to fruition
The legal right to live and work within the United Kingdom.
