Team:

Regulatory Technology is part of Platform solutions. The Consumer businesses need to adhere to various regulatory and contractual obligations across different parts and process of its business. The oversight of controls to meet such regulations/obligations and management of controls or consumer issues span multiple teams and requires a consistent, repeatable and maintainable steps across platform Solutions. Towards this, the Reg Tech team aims to build a platform that cuts across all lines of business, would provide mechanisms to effectively manage the inventory of process, controls and systematically map them to appropriate activities undertaken as part of the business in a way to show compliance with regulations and obligations & facilitate remediation when inadequacy is discovered.

  • Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features
  • Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices, and software runbooks
Basic Qualifications:
  • Senior Developer with 12-15 years of Java Backend development experience
  • Expertise in Core Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
  • Experience with micro service based architecture
  • Experience with Messaging Frameworks preferably Kafka
  • Experience with AWS
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and related tools like JIRA
  • Experience with Unit & Integration testing frameworks, Junit, Mockito, Serenity, Jbehave.
  • Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads, and executive level stakeholders
  • Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading team of developers
  • Experience in Financial Services or Fintech is a plus
  • Experience with No-SQL DB preferably MongoDB
  • Masters in Computer Science or any equivalent work experience

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $115000-$270000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
