Our client is an established, international investment firm looking to expand its already high-calibre public markets investment team in the Middle East. You will be joining a top-tier name that is globally recognised.
This role sits within the international public markets investment team, where you will focus on direct public investments on a global basis. You will also gain exposure to some primary public fund investments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Play an integral role in the evaluation and execution of direct and primary investment opportunities in public markets
• Monitoring markets, preparing research reports, and generating investment/trade ideas
• Co-ordination of the due diligence process and investment execution
• Construction, monitoring and ongoing evaluation and analysis of portfolio investments, including P&L analysis and risk management
• Take significant responsibility in the preparation and presentation of materials to the relevant committees

YOUR PROFILE:

• Strong academic track record from leading institutions (CFA / MBA / Master's is ideal)
• Demonstrable relevant work experience, ideally from a financial hub, in portfolio management, investment research, public fund selection, investment banking or similar at a top firm
• Exposure across a range of public market asset classes (e.g. public equity, fixed income, derivatives etc) is ideal
• Advanced analytical capabilities including creating and interpreting complex financial models (DCF, NPV, IRR etc)
• Confident and articulate communicator both written and verbally
• Must be a team player, with a high level of initiative
