About our client

Our client is an alternative asset manager operating on a global basis with a track record of over 30 years of investment excellence. The Strategic Equity team is looking to hire an Associate to focus specifically on business development initiatives and strategic support on fundraising activities. This is a technical role and you will sit alongside the deal team. Many of the existing team come from top investment banking or buyout funds. What the job involves

• Creating/maintaining bespoke and fund-specific marketing materials
• Responding to investor due diligence queries
• Acting as a Strategic Equity spokesperson internally and with external third parties
• Analysing performance trends and portfolio developments
• Assisting in managing relationships with key stakeholders

Who we are looking for

• Strong educational background with experience in a technical role either within investment banking, private equity or corporate finance
• Strong project management capabilities and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to synthesise a variety of investment strategy concepts
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
• Real team player, keen to work as part of an entrepreneurial, high-performing, collaborative team
