The firm deploys computer-driven trading strategies across various liquid asset classes, such as equities, futures, and foreign exchange and takes pride in conducting rigorous research into these markets, supported by extensive access to publicly available data sources. As a Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this innovative research infrastructure.

You will collaborate with the High-Frequency Algo development team, contributing to the enhancement of the trading platform and work closely alongside the Central Research Technology team in both cloud and on-premise environments helping them leverage their research platform.

You will be invaluable to the Central High-Frequency trading team, providing technical solutions for research and live trading activities. Additionally, you will assist other PM teams by utilizing your expertise in developing technical solutions as well as provide Level 3 (L3) support for the production systems, ensuring their smooth operation. Your contributions will be crucial to the organization's success.

Requirements for this role include an undergraduate degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline. Familiarity with version control and the software delivery lifecycle is necessary. Proficiency in C++ programming and comfort in a multi-threaded environment is essential. Experience in Python and finance is a plus.

Based on Mondrian Alpha's 2023 technology salary survey (141 Hedge Funds took part), the role is paying a year one total comp package that is comfortably in the upper quartile of what New York-based Hedge Funds currently pay C++ developers at this level, so you can expect an excellent increase on your current base and overall comp package.
