Durlston Partners are currently looking for a talented Quant Developer/Software Engineer to help build the best-in-class cloud-native solutions, you will be responsible for working in a small development team to build out a new middle office and operations function. You will also be responsible for interacting with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and formulating software solutions that meet their needs.

The firm we are working with is a leading global asset manager. They engage predominately in the discretionary sphere trading in FI and FX markets. They are looking to invest in their technology and build out their middle office function. The successful individuals will report directly to the head of Risk and Middle Office IT.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in a small development team to build out a new middle office and operations platform
  • Interact with users to understand their business requirements and formulate software solutions that meet their needs
  • Leverage the right tools for the job, predominantly Java, Typescript and Python

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong understanding of Java + Typescript and Python
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
