Americas Institutional Business within the Client Solutions Group markets GSAM's investment products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries and advisors. The focus is on building and maintaining long-term client relationships and communicating key themes from the firm's leading investment professionals. Our team provides investment solutions across all major asset classes (e.g., fixed income, equities and alternatives) and products including mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts and alternative investments

HOW YOU WILL FULFULL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Vice President will be responsible for generating new sales and maintaining relationships with institutional clients in the Mid-Atlantic region
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for each individual client, which outlines selling opportunities, a service plan and specific deliverables across all asset classes
  • Collaborate with Portfolio and Product Manager(s) to prepare and review materials for new business opportunities and existing client relationships
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • At least 5-7 years of work experience at an asset management firm or other financial services organization
  • Direct client experience with proven track record in business development with institutional clients, preferably in the Mid-Atlantic region
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, the asset management business and capital markets
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Strong work ethic, highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial
  • MBA or CFA a plus
  • Series 7, 63 and 3 required, or obtained within 3 months of joining
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$290000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
