YOUR IMPACT

As part of the SN Origination team, you will play a direct and key role in ensuring that structured notes are traded as scheduled by coordinating the completion of all required pre-trade deal documentation in a timely manner. You will work closely with legal and marketing teams on pricing supplement reviews and perform checks for implementations on new underliers.

Private Wealth Management (PWM)

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.

The Managed Strategies group sits within Asset & Wealth Management ("AWM") and partners with advisors and their clients to identify investment objects and implement differentiated equity strategies in order to tailor portfolios to meet both strategic and tactical goals. The team offers a comprehensive platform, specializing in structured investments and option overlay strategies.

The Equity Structuring group ("EQS") sits within Asset & Wealth Management ("AWM") and delivers tailored and holistic equity-based solutions to global wealth management and cross-divisional clients through customized structuring and execution services. EQS provides clients with strategic and thematic investment opportunities across a variety of structured note implementations.

The Structured Notes ("SN") team sits within the Equity Structuring group and works with private wealth advisors to develop customizable structured investments tailored to meet a specific investor's objectives. SN also manages a portfolio of notes within separately managed accounts that have a specific risk/return profile for a given asset.

EQS is currently seeking a junior associate to work as part of the Structured Notes team ("SN") to support the existing business and assist with the implementation of various growth initiatives.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Coordinate daily with Marketing, Trading, Legal and Compliance teams on new structured note implementations
  • Manage intergral part of the structured note business flow working directly with external distrubutors including initial deal creation, documentation review, and post-trade date processes
  • Collaborate with Technology to drive automation initiatives to further improve scale and efficiencies
  • Contribute to ongoing platform expansion and technology development through collaboration with business partners, trading and other stakeholders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Motivated team player who takes initiative
  • Demonstrated interest in public equity markets
  • Adept at developing and maintaining internal and external relationships
  • High degree of personal accountability, good judgement and ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Creative approach to problem solving
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & Series 63 exams required (or obtained within first 3 months of employment)
  • Prior experience with derivatives and/or structured notes

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
