The securities finance group customizes programs for clients to generate incremental revenue and optimize their investment portfolio. This role is responsible for managing institutional client relationships specifically for securities finance relationships. Responsibilities include consulting with existing clients, participating in new sales opportunities as well as leading and identifying opportunities to cross-sell products to generate additional revenues.

We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need, and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Manages client relationships for securities finance offerings including securities lending.
  • Ensures overall client satisfaction by coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery and issue-resolution, and effectively communicating client objectives and needs to partners.
  • Develops understanding of clients' business, objectives, goals and market challenges, and identifies and explains solutions and options.
  • Cultivates strong working relationships with clients, including front office and C-suite contacts. Adds value by anticipating possible solutions and partnering with clients and internal partners to implement.
  • Educates clients on emerging issues, capital markets products and services, regulatory changes, and the general market environment, advising the client of the impact on the client's securities finance products.
  • Participates in new business sales and cross-sells bank products/services. Develops of solutions to client needs, coordinates tailored presentations, brings in experts when appropriate, closes the sale, ensures smooth delivery of new services, and communicates emerging needs.
  • Manages client profitability, understands competitive environment, develops pricing strategies, and works with team to enhance profitability.
The Successful Candidate will benefit from having the following:
  • Knowledge of securities finance services can be learned on the job.
  • Client servicing experience is required to manage complex client relationships.
  • Knowledge of general finance concepts usually acquired through formal education or experience, as well as familiarity with financial markets is needed to consult on client needs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Skills in negotiation, delegating, leadership, and service delivery
  • Attention to detail
  • Works with a sense of urgency
  • 5+ years of experience in financial service or asset servicing; willingness to learn securities finance products.
