We are now looking for a specialist who, together with a skilled team of senior colleagues across 2 locations, will ensure that all corporate actions in Nordea Asset Management are processed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

About This Opportunity

Welcome to the Corporate Action Team in Nordea Asset Management.

You will be part of a team of specialists across 2 locations and your role is to monitor and process corporate actions. You will also be involved in optimizing processes both in the team and together with others in the organisation.

Our main purpose is to ensure that we are a professional sparring partner to our Investment organization on all corporate actions and process these timely and with a high accuracy.

We are 8 people in the team all with a vision to deliver world class corporate action service. We are specialized in areas around mandatory and volountary corporate actions and the operational knowhow on setups and consequences is anchored within our team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Handling full life-cycle of Corporate Action-events on global markets.
  • Handling Corporate Action related queries from Portfolio Managers and internal stakeholders.
  • External communications with various custodians and vendors on any issues and elections to ensure the correct data needed to process events.
  • Mitigating risk in connection to NAV-calculations on the Funds.
  • Work on projects relating to optimization of processes and to some extent programing of control-reports.
     

The opportunity is open to experienced candidates with a background in Economics, Finance or Mathematics with a proven interest in banking operations, corporate actions or relevant Back Office Services.

The role is based in Copenhagen or Lisbon.

Your experience and background:

  • Corporate actions experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
