As a Risk specialist in their rapidly growing EMEA banking analytics team, you will be involved in multiple exciting opportunities to build new solutions, solve interesting risk and regulatory problems, and demonstrate strong subject matter knowledge during senior client conversations to build credibility and trust.
You will be playing the role of a knowledge partner to clients needing support on their regulatory compliance and risk management journey. This role is client-facing and as such you should be willing to spend 25-40% of your time on client locations- either for initial client workshops or presenting solutions/frameworks or even as the SME guiding the team during the delivery phase.
You will be a key catalyst to drive growth- the company already works with some of the largest and most prestigious UK banks and their aspiration is to deepen those relationships and build new relationships with other large banks, fintechs and payment providers.

Role Responsibilities:
- Being current on new risk regulations regularly published by PRA and ECB
- Build a point of view on what these regulations mean for banks in terms of compliance
- Help front-end sales and account management team with subject matter knowledge and expertise to build rapport and trust with clients and prospects
- Help convert client problems to actionable plans/frameworks/solutions, working closely with front-end and delivery teams and then presenting them to clients & prospects
- Be part of regular governance meetings with clients to continue establishing trust and subject matter expertise
Qualifications and experience required
- Minimum 10 years (ideally 15+ years) of experience in relevant credit risk areas for banks (preferably retail banks), Big4 or specialised domain consulting firms
- These essential areas of experience to include Capital compliance (IRB, IFRS9, CRR) or Model Risk Management (Validation and/or monitoring), as well as experience in either Collections or Fraud, or Customer management (Underwriting, pricing), or Risk Data Management (BCBS239)
- Experience in supporting front end sales & account management teams is highly desirable
- Master's degree in business or accounting OR a reputed STEM graduate degree

- Willingness to go above and beyond to solve client problems
- Willingness to travel within UK, Ireland and EU
- Ability and experience in working with different time zones
- Exposure to working in a multicultural diverse organisation would be desirable
