Alternative Investments, Fund Research Analyst

Our client, a London-based investment management firm, is seeking a Senior Fund Manager & Fund Research Analyst with a strong background in alternative investments to join their newly created Fund Research team within the Front Office.

This is a pure research role that will offer the opportunity to conduct high-quality analysis and due diligence across various geographic regions and asset classes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the fund universe across different product structures and asset classes, with a particular emphasis on alternative investments. You will be passionate about researching, analysing, and communicating about funds or external fund managers/sub-advisors that can add value to our client's investment solutions.

As a Senior Fund Manager Research Analyst, you will take the lead responsibility for prescribed sectors and work alongside, and help mentor a team of research analysts to ensure best-in-class performance. You will have the ability to operate with limited oversight while ensuring quality output and recommendations are communicated and presented clearly, within a timely manner.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in financial markets, with an understanding of sustainable and ESG research processes. You will also possess good knowledge of systems and data for fund analysis, and may have prior experience with Style Analytics, Morningstar, and FactSet.
