Multi-generational Single Family Office is looking to add a Senior Investment Analyst (SIA) to their team. The position will report directly to the CEO/CIO. The SIA will play an important role in managing generational capital across all asset classes (cash, fixed income, credit, real assets, hedge funds, private markets, global public equities and other opportunistic investments). They will experience hands-on engagement with all current and prospective money managers and investment advisors through due diligence calls, site visits and research forums. Finally, the SIA will collaborate with a talented team of multidisciplinary, family office professionals and Board members in support of the family office’s mission.
A few key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the CEO/CIO and Investment Advisors in:
- Development of the Investment Strategy and Investment Policy Statements
- Evaluation of Investment Advisors and Investment Managers
- Money Manager Due Diligence, Selection and Monitoring
- Evaluation of Potential Opportunistic Co-Investments Originating from Trusted Strategic Partner
- Development of Analytics Including Performance Measurement, Reporting and Risk Metrics
- Development and Execution of Investment Risk Management Policies and Related Analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar field required
- Master’s degree and/or CFA designation (or CFA candidate)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility in asset management or investment research function
- Experience with diverse technical issues that affect taxable investors, including tax efficient investing, estate and tax planning and cash management
- Excellent attention to detail
- Available to travel on occasion to visit managers across U.S., Europe, Asia, etc.
