Foreign Exchange (FX) Processing Electronic Funds Technician
SUMMARY
This individual will monitor client wire transactions ensuring smooth transmission from start to finish. Additionally, they will provide support to banking clients, the operations teams and managers of The Northern Trust International Banking Corporation (TNTIBC) by using various banking systems.

SUMMARY
This individual will monitor client wire transactions ensuring smooth transmission from start to finish. Additionally, they will provide support to banking clients, the operations teams and managers of The Northern Trust International Banking Corporation (TNTIBC) by using various banking systems.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Interprets account transaction information ensuring accurate processing of Swift Messages Inbound /outbound for various clients.
- Monitors client wire and/or exception reject account transactions ensuring a smooth transmission from start to finish.
- Resolves items that were not closed within scheduled timeframes.
- Investigates and resolves exceptions, communicating solutions verbal or written form to appropriate parties.
- Respond to client inquiries, communicate with other groups internally to assign received queries.
- Obtain knowledge of the wider Account Implementation operations, assist team members from other teams as needed.
- At least 1 year in banking, and trust related experience and/or knowledge is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication, both written and oral required.
- Math skills are a must.
- Communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrates the willingness and ability to work in both individual and team settings, and to learn and cross-train with other teams.
- Attention to detail is essential.
