What is the Opportunity?
  • We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join TTO Transformation. The TTO Transformation team are responsible for managing the implementation of Strategy '25 within the TTO (Transformation, Technology & Operations) organisation. This role will require the successful individual to work across all aspects of the transformation, including providing support for the scoping, shaping, solutioning and execution of a wide range of TTO Transformation Initiatives. The individual will gain first hand exposure to organisational transformation including defining and driving changes in TTO's operating model and organisation design, as well as developing and implementing organisational strategy relating to its workforce, location, vendor and real estate. The candidate will require excellent coordination, consultation, project management, communication and stakeholder management skills to successfully deliver the strategy.
Strategy and Transformation
  • Understand and articulate the strategic goals and objectives of TTO Strategy '25 and support its implementation across the TTO organisation.
  • Support the definition, shaping and solutioning of transformation initiatives that enable the implementation of Strategy '25.
  • Support the definition, shaping and solutioning of organisational transformation including operating model, organisation design, and organisational strategy including workforce, location, vendor and real estate.
  • Support the development of business cases articulating investment required and/or benefits anticipated for transformation initiatives.
  • Provide planning and development of implementation roadmaps for transformation initiatives.
  • Provide the project management required to execute transformation initiatives.
Business
  • Forge relationships with TTO Management Team and respective Business Planning Managers to ensure understanding and understanding to execute against Strategy25.
  • Drive transformation initiatives to ensure they deliver against the key measures of success defined in Strategy '25 and the expected outcomes are delivered across the TTO organisation.
  • Generate reports to track transformation progress against stated objectives, key results, and realisation of benefits for stakeholder requirements, programme office, QPR/MPR engagement, senior management consumption.
  • Partner with Strategy Transformation Management Office to ensure alignment in roadmap, initiative development, priorities, value delivery, and dependencies with broader transformation initiatives driven through the QPR's and each TTO domain.

Processes
  • Ensure timely updates on initiative progress, issues/risks, timelines, financials, resource plan, and any other static data to various governance forums (i.e., Refinement Forum (RF), Steering Co, Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR), Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPR), etc.). Ensure the data is meaningful, accurate, relevant, and data is current.
  • Provide support to transformation leads, workstream leads, and initiative stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and to ensure that programme/projects follow the Bank's project management standards, processes, and governance.
Governance
  • Responsible for preparing material, conduct and run any Refinement Forum (RF) and/or Steering Committee (SC) required to update key stakeholder groups of progress, delivery risks/issues, and solicit decisions and/or input required to successfully deliver initiative.
  • Ensure all submissions to committees / forums are of the right quality and are timely
  • Maintain the PMO library (SharePoint / Teams / Confluence) including submitted papers and meeting minutes of various Governance forums.
Risk Management
  • Act quickly and decisively when any risk and/or control weakness becomes apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and, if necessary, escalated through the relevant forums.

  • Academic or Professional Education/Qualifications: Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 6+ years' experience in a professional corporate environment; previous management or technology consulting experience desirable.
  • Experience in financial institutions and in transformation management and/or programme management within the Technology or Operations area.
  • Previous management or technology consulting experience and agile delivery desirable.
  • Understands the industry, business and operational environment which are required to manage dependencies and priorities of initiatives across the organisation to ensure adherence to the overall TTO Strategy.
  • Good understanding of programme and project benefits tracking (financial and non-financial related) is required.
  • Experience in operationalising, scaling and managing of a large scale and complex programme and/or programme management offices.
  • Ability to analyse data synthesize observations and/or recommendations for management attention.
  • Ability to create high quality materials in MS PowerPoint for management consumption
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and willingness to roll-up sleeves to drive success.
  • A mindset to continuously learn and develop themselves.
  • Previous project management skills and/or experience working in an enterprise wide PMO team
