This is an exciting position for a skilled and experienced risk analyst to join our dynamic team. As an investment risk analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the business on risk management through the operation of the firm's enterprise risk management frameworks.

Based in Wolverhampton, the successful candidate will work closely with the Enterprise Risk Manager, Head of Risk (when in post) and Chief Legal, Compliance and Risk Officer (CLCRO) to support the business on risk management through the operation of the firm's enterprise risk management platform, policies, and procedures, as well as advising the business on risk management matters.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Competence:
  • Able to communicate complex and highly technical matters in a way which is understandable and relevant.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills, able to develop pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
  • Good report-writing skills.
  • Active participant in continuous professional development, with an up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting, finance, investments, and pensions matters.
  • Able to build effective relationships at all levels of the company and across the wider industry.
  • Organised and able to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities under significant time pressures.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and people management skills.

Qualifications
  • Degree qualified.
  • Associated risk management practitioner qualification/certifications and/or on the job experience and training preferred.
  • Experience in the asset management/financial services sectors preferred.
